The latest addition to the sculptures in Milton Keynes means we can see three stars anytime even if it is cloudy,
Set on a mound by Furzdon Lake July 2002, and standing opposite the famous music venue the National Bowl.
Triple Starhead is a 30 ft high stainless steel  edifice created by Paul Neagu that previously stood outside the British Consul in Ottawa,
It can now be admired  by many thousands of people who come to MK for the musical

Triple Starhead by Paul Neagu

The Gnomon,
can be found next to the cricket club at Campbell Park it looks like a set of wickets but is in fact a sundial without a dial,
It was constructed  by Peter Bowker in 1994 from from three pieces of Welsh slate with a bronze ball embedded into it, and set on the Medieval Ley Line that runs east/west through Central Milton Keynes shopping centre.
(A Gnomon is a stationary arm whose shadow indicates the time on a dial so as such this one is

Chain Reaction.  
An acrobatic looking sculpture located at the H9 - V5 roundabout entrance to Campbell Park, was created in 1992 by Ray Smith from laser cut mild steel and is painted a red oxide colour , because it is four dimensional it can be looked at from any angle with equal effect, a figure balanced on a figure balanced on a figure could be repeated over and over

A Family of Sport.
This fine bronze group of sporting enthusiasts are to be seen walking towards the entrance of the National Hockey Stadium  (Temporary home for Wimbledon Football Club now “MK Dons”)  was commissioned by the National Hockey Foundation and created by Sheffield based sculptor Chris Boulton in 1996,
It is life sized and with people coming and going it blends in so well it may not be noticed

The Armillary Sphere.
Is in the centre of the labyrinth at Campbell Park off Silbury Boulevard Made by Justin Tunley, 1995 in painted mild steel, it is also a sundial with a central gnomon that casts a shadow on the central ring.
The Sphere was commissioned by Midsummer Housing Association.

The Head
Can be found in Campbell Park near the Grand Union Canal off Overgate Near the Cricket Pitch It was created in 1990 by Allen Jones from untreated cut steel.

The Circle of Hearts Medicine Wheel.
Another symbol of peace for Willen Lake was built in year 2000 by volunteers,
The Northeast and Southwest stones line up with the sunrise on Midsummer day

I don't know anthing about this one on the right except it is behind Milton Keynes Gallery and it is a stainless steel castle.

The scupture on the left Is carved from a single peice of timber and stands top of a roundabout at Kents Hill.

Below left is Bill Billings Triceratops the Peartree Bridge Dinosaur, and right at Central Milton Keynes a life size pair of bronze figures
